Q&A with DragonFire

[WARNING: This post may contain spoilers.]

DragonFire is the author of such stories like The Dragon Prince and Of Light and Dark.

Q. Tell me a little bit about yourself

Well, I turned 30 this year… that didn’t turn out as traumatic as I thought it would. Mind you, the JD & vodka kinda helped the evening along, plus they had a really cute stripper. All in all is was a very good night. 😉

GA Stories

Internets = srs.biz. Parody motivator.

So GayAuthors (GA) is making a pretty huge change. A change that affects the basic fabric of what they offer. They’re replacing eFition/hosted authors/promising authors with a new system called GA Stories. From what I have been told, eFiction didn’t work so well. So they coded this system to work with the forum code.

Up until this I published some of my stuff under eFiction. One of the big cons is that authors have to move their own stuff over. I’m lazy, and generally don’t have a lot of time. I’d much rather be writing than having to move my stories over to the new system. But that’s not the reason I’m never going to post on GA again.

Q&A with Anyta Sunday

[WARNING: This post may contain spoilers.]

Anyta is from New Zealand. She has written stories such as Shane and Trey, and Get It.

Q. Tell me a little bit about yourself

Oki-doki, so I’m a kiwi, born and raised in good ol’ New Zealand. After finishing uni, I followed my heart and love to Germany, where we tied the knot. I’ve spent a few years teaching English at grade school (whoa was that hard!). And now I’m a mom of an almost two-year-old. And I consider myself a writer, even if I do have to live with the eye-rolls I get when I say that, lol. 😀

Q&A with Dark

[WARNING: The post may contain spoilers.]

Dark is the author of The One I Want and The Nanny

Q. Tell me a little bit about yourself

Well, lemme see. I’m 30 years old, been writing since at least 5th grade. A classmate was an artist and we came up with characters and stories together. Nowadays I’d call it role-playing. I have my bachelor’s degree in engineering and served as an officer in the US Air Force for four years before deciding to get out and pursue my love of teaching. I’m currently half-way through my semester of student-teaching, on-track to receive my credential in February 2011. I want to teach 8th grade science. My credential will be for 6-12 grade science, so I could teach any grade, and my specialty is physics.

Q&A with Tiger

[WARNING: The post may contain spoilers.]

Tiger is a new author, but a good one. He writes stories such as The Sorcerous Prince, and Dark Earth: The Prophecy.

Q. Tell me a little bit about yourself

I was born Kansas City, Missouri in 1982 and grew up about 50-60 miles south of there. I now live in the Dallas area, about 30-40 minutes from downtown Dallas. I like traveling, listening to a variety of music, watching movies, video games, computers, and spending time with my family. I’m also an anime and manga fan.

Q. What inspires you to write?

Interviews

So I was chatting with Comicality the other day, and he really wants me to do some more interviews. The thing is I’m not sure who I should interview, and I haven’t gotten any suggestions lately. So I’ll keep thinking on it, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Story updates – Things are still on the slow side. I had some readers asking, and I have made some progress on My Boyfriend is a Vampire. Right now I just need more time to be able to write. The new job is great, but takes up time, LOL.

House of Stone

[WARNING: The post may contain spoilers.]

So first off, the title is a bit of a misnomer. Recently I read the book House of Stone by Vaughn R. Demont. It won’t be available in print until May 2011, for now it is only available as an e-book.

Richard Stone is not what you’d expect. He’s a sidhe. Faerie. Fae. And a minor noble. To make ends meet, he’s also a porn star since the fae have super gorgeous bodies and stuff. And great in bed too. So one day he get’s married… to a girl. This is the big ICK factor in the book. But it’s not as huge of an ick factor as one might think, because it’s a major plot device.
